Registrations are now open for Bicycle Queensland's 2015 Cycle Queensland Adventure Tour, which this year loops out of Toowoomba and through the archetypal farmslands of the Darling Downs.

The nine-day fully supported bike tour follows quiet country roads through golden fields to towns including Allora, Warwick, Leyburn, Millmerran, Dalby and Goombungee.

The full loop route is relatively flat with a few undulating sections and runs for 561km (or up to 630km for those wanting to add a couple of challenges along the way).

“Cycle Queensland is all about having fun – both on and off your bike!” Cycle Queensland says.

“In the afternoons and evenings there is plenty to do and see: take a tour, party-on at the local inn or just chill out at the picturesque camp sites.”

The Cycle Queensland Adventure Tour runs from September 5-13. For those who can't stay for the full nine days, there are two shorter options available: a three-day tour from Toowoomba to Warwick, or a five-day tour from Warwick to Toowoomba.

The tour includes three cooked meals a day, luggage transfer, camping fees, hot showers, road, medical and mechanical support as well as entertainment. All cyclists need to do is ride and pitch their tents, although there are upgrade options available for luxury pre-prepared tents or motels.
